Urban Tree Project

Ongoing collaboration with Deirdre A Power & Jacki Hehir.

Urban Tree Project is a non-profit socially engaged art practice that approach works towards affecting change. The aim is to bring the cultural agenda to the heart of the body politic through interventions in the field of interdisciplinary research that help shape political, cultural, and ethical dialogue and action. Our projects work towards a collaborative and participatory creative process by shared experiences and the relations that are generated between communities. Our pedagogical rational is to develop upon a continued, sustained discourse with communities in the city of Limerick, Ireland, on the ideas and aspirations that form the very basis of community life. We envision this work to be a positive step in promoting change at local level and re-imagining spaces within the city environs towards the restoration of the future.
